Bertha Faye Adair

Bertha Faye Adair (nee Addington), 81 of Elyria passed away at her son’s home on Sunday, March 24, 2024. She was a homemaker most of her life, although she did sell real estate as well. Bertha was a member of the East Broad Street Church of Christ, and enjoyed camping and bowling in her younger years. She was married to her late husband, Reford, for 62 years, and will be greatly missed by her family.

Bertha is survived by her sons, Richard Adair (Becky), Jeffery Adair (Cindy), and Douglas Adair; grandchildren, Steven Adair, Kellie Rohde, Alisha Singh, and Max Adair; great grandchildren, Ryan and Chloe Adair; and her sister, Kathleen “Sue” Massey.

Bertha was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Reford Adair; parents, Bert and Ruby Addington; and siblings, Marie Wilburn, Glen Addington, and Homer Addington.

The family will receive friends at the Reichlin Roberts Bollinger Funeral Home, 327 Cleveland St., Elyria on Thursday, March 28 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. The funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Friday, March 29 at 11:00 am, followed by the burial at Brookdale Cemetery.
