David B. Fries

David B. Fries, 82 of Elyria passed away on February 24, 2025. He was a very proud US Air Force veteran who traveled all over the world with the Air Force working as an airplane mechanic. David was an extremely intelligent man, especially in the areas of history, politics, geography and space. He also was an excellent photographer. David’s greatest joy however, was staying home spending time with his family.

David is survived by his children, Christina Murray (Allen) and Ian Fries; grandchildren, Lillith Ruth, Kincade Ruth, and Elizabeth Murray; and sister, Garnetta Warner.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Georgia, and his parents, Wilford and Elizabeth Fries.

The family will receive friends at the Reichlin Roberts Bollinger Funeral Home, 327 Cleveland St., Elyria on Saturday, March 8, 2025 from 4:00 - 6:00 pm, with a funeral service beginning at 6:00 pm.
