Donna K. Adams

Donna K. Adams (nee Ruddock) of Elyria passed away peacefully following a short illness, just 10 days away from her 88th birthday, surrounded by her family. She was born in Johnstown, PA on December 25, 1935, to David and Freda Ruddock. Donna was raised in Homer City, PA and in 1959 moved to Elyria, where she raised her family. She was a mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Donna is survived by her daughters, Debra (Jon) Davisson of Amherst and Judith (John, Sr) Shreve of Sheffield Village; grandchildren, Scott (Brittany) Remaklus, Brian Remaklus, Joseph (Brittany) Kovacs and Katie Kovacs; great-grandchildren Logan, Harper, Graham and Miles; sister In-law Mary Ruddock; nephew, Dan Fairbanks; and nieces, Sherry Gibbs, Donna Dixon and Andria Flores.

Donna spent many years working for medical offices in Elyria, retiring from Dr Carmen Hansford's office. Donna loved spending time with family, and she attended many of her grandchildren’s sporting events when they were in school. After retirement she enjoyed spending her time reading, doing multiple craft projects, going to bingo and socializing with her many dear friends. The family would like to thank Sharon Ford, Carol Allison, and Linda Craig for their friendship.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, David and Freda Ruddock; sister, Lois Craig; brothers, Thomas and David Ruddock; and a nephew, Thomas Craig.

A member of the Solid Rock Community Church, Donna enjoyed bible study and volunteering in the library and food bank.

A memorial service will be held at Solid Rock Community Church, 680 Abbe Rd. N., Elyria on Saturday January 6, 2024, at 11:00 am. A private burial will take place at a later date.
