Margo L. Snyder

Margo L. Snyder, born May 13, 1943, in Elyria, Ohio to Olive Rose Bainbridge, passed away peacefully on January 25, 2025.

She graduated from Elyria High School in 1961 and then continued her education to become a Registered Nurse and graduated from the M.B. Johnson School of Nursing which prepared her for a 40+ year career in the medical field. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, who were her pride and joy, and hobbies, including gardening and cross stitch. After retirement, she began travelling and was often found sitting on her front porch visiting friends and family with her beloved dogs by her side.

She is survived by sons, Kirk Snyder and Christopher Snyder; grandchildren, Ellie, Desiree, Debra, Alex and Susan;  great granddaughter, Nakoma; niece, Jennifer (Tim) Balzer; great niece, Elizabeth (Neil) Kerry; great nephews, Danial (Tiffany) Bainbridge and Ryan (Jessica) Bainbridge; several great great nephews one great great niece; brothers, William Bainbridge and Timothy (MaryAnn) Bainbridge; and her dear friend from nursing school, Mitzi Bakos.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Olive Rose Bainbridge, and her nephew, Mark Bainbridge.

A Memorial Service honoring Margo will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2025 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at Reichlin Roberts Bollinger Funeral Home. 327 Cleveland Street in Elyria, Ohio. A Tribute from the Northeast Ohio Nurse Honor Guard will take place at 11:00 am, and the funeral service will immediately follow the visitation at 1:00 pm.
