Patricia Hayduk-Ward

Patricia Hayduk-Ward, “Pat”, 77 of Elyria passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2024. She was very proud of being able to be a stay-at-home Mom until her youngest daughter was in the first grade. At that time, she became a real estate agent and then she later got a job at a bank. Pat moved up in positions, retiring as the Vice-President in charge of Mortgage Processing for 5/3 Bank. After retirement, she then worked at Lorain National Bank and when she wasn’t working, she relished travelling with her husband Donald. Pat was a very giving person and simply loved people. She also enjoyed country music and was a big fan of the Browns and the Tribe. Her greatest love was being with her family and hosting holiday get-togethers. Known as “Mama Duke”, she was the greatest mom and as much as she loved and cared for others, she was equally loved by everyone who knew her.

Pat is survived by her loving husband Donald; daughters, Caroline “Carrie” Hayduk Kaminski (Matt) and Crystal Hayduk Mattingly (Kevin); her number one most favorite person with whom she had a special bond – her grandson Calvin Daniel Kaminski aka “Bug”; and her special four-legged friend Maggie. She was preceded in death by her parents Richard Newsome and Dixie Horn Newsome.

The family will receive friends from 2-4pm on Sunday, July 14 at the Reichlin Roberts Bollinger Funeral Home, 327 Cleveland St., Elyria.
