Robert Allen "Redd" Dillon passed away Thursday, March 2, 2023. He was born in Oberlin, Ohio on April 19, 1980 to Jack N. and Linda J. Dillon (nee Chase).
Robert was preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert Dillon; grandmother, Marian Chase; and grandson, Jah'Meir Williams.
Robert is survived by his loving parents, Jack and Linda Dillon; his daughters, Bryanna Dillon and Gabriella Bays; and siblings, Laura (David) Mutnansky, Amanda (Daniel) Bohannon and Thomas (Jessica) Dillon. He was a loving uncle to Alysa, Eryn, Rylie, Kaylie, Jackson, Thomas and Payton, who lovingly knew him as Uncle Bob or Uncle Bubby.
Robert enjoyed spending time with his family and many friends, scrapping metal, helping move people or with whatever was needed. He loved the outdoors, baseball and football. He even tried out for the Cincinnati Reds when he was a younger man. He was so very loved, and will be missed by his family and his childhood friends, "The Water Street Boys".
Family and friends will be welcomed for visitation Wednesday, March 8th, 2023 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at Reichlin Roberts Bollinger Funeral Home, 327 Cleveland Street, Elyria, with a short service officiated by Pastor Carissa Wright to follow. Burial will take place on Thursday, March 9th, 2023 at 10 a.m. at Brookdale Cemetery in Elyria, Ohio.
Reichlin Roberts Bollinger Funeral Home will be assisting with all funeral needs.
