Thomas Ramon Leidenheimer, 82, entered God's kingdom on October 3, 2024. He was born on December 15, 1941 to Henry and Leafy Leidenheimer in Cleveland and grew up in Sheffield Lake graduating from Brookside High School in 1960. After high school he was drafted in the 

 U.S. Army and served from 1964 to 1966 with a tour in South Korea. After serving he became owner and manager of Sixth City Inventory, a family owned business until 1985 and remained in the automotive industry as parts manager at various dealerships until his retirement in 2007. 

 Tom enjoyed watching sports and was an avid Cleveland Browns and Ohio State fan as well as watching his sons and then his grandsons marching in the Elyria High School Band. He enjoyed giving back to the community as a volunteer at University Hospital Elyria Medical Center since 2007, and was involved in the church as Eucharistic Minister and Reader. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church for 30+ years and was currently a member of St. Jude Catholic Church. 

 Surviving is his wife of 57 years Diane Marie (nee Wence), sons Stephen (Holly) of Elyria, Eric (Lisa) of North Ridgeville, and grandsons Matthew and Jonathan of Elyria. He was preceded in death by his parents Henry and Leafy, sisters Helen and Gale, and brother William. 

Visitation will be private. Mass will be held on Thursday, October 10 at 10:30 at St. Jude Catholic Church, Elyria. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Avon. A reception celebrating his life will be held at Blue Sky Restaurant in Elyria following the burial ceremony. 

 In lieu of flowers Thomas wished to have donations sent to The Disabled American Veterans.  Donations can be made on line by clicking here.
